Ridder-HortiMaX opens new office in Mexico

Thursday 9th November saw the opening of the brand new HortiMaX office in Santiago de Querétaro. Around 70 invited guests were present to share this special moment. Opening the new office underlines Mexico’s importance as a strategic country and marks a new period for Ridder-HortiMaX in Mexico.

Santiago de Querétaro
HortiMaX has been active in Mexico since 2003. The first major projects were sold in 2011 and HortiMaX set up its first office in Mexico in the same year. HortiMaX’s local presence has resulted in a significant boost in business as there is much need for local support. HortiMaX’s growth is also thanks to the dealer network expansion in recent years. This growth meant that the old office was no longer suitable and the search began for a new office. HortiMaX has now moved into modern and up-to-date premises in Central Park, Corporate Building 1, Office 2C in Santiago de Querétaro.

Margriet Leemhuis gave a short address to all those present. This was followed by short speeches from Michèl de Wit (HortiMaX’s CCO) and Ruben Soto (General Manager of HortiMaX Mexico). Michèl de Wit: "The opening of these new premises further emphasizes the strategic importance of our activities in Mexico. This facility will allow us to provide even better and faster service, much needed in this region. It will also provide a springboard for further growth in Mexico."
