Air Flow Fans
The HortiMaX air flow fans prevent large temperature differences in your greenhouse, improving the efficiency of your heating and CO2 enrichment systems. When combined with a fogging system, these fans are an excellent means of lowering the ambient temperature and raising the humidity level. This prevents stress in crops and significantly improves the growing climate.

Find out the most effective fan pattern
Air flow fans are often installed without really knowing where they will be most effective. Mounting the fans in rows does not necessarily create the best air circulation pattern for your crops. The design of your greenhouse, type of crop grown and the growing methods used (i.e. soil, substrate or benches) to a large degree determine where the fans need to be installed/are all factors which need to be considered when installing the fans. The key is to prevent stagnant air, so you will get the most out of your fans without wasting electricity.
A simulation program has been developed in collaboration with Westland Energie which shows the effectiveness of your current fan pattern and which allows the best installation pattern of your new fans to be determined in order to maximize air circulation.

Poor temperature distribution in greenhouse (red = high temperature, blue = low temperature)
The optimum installation pattern is determined in each block based on the type and dimensions of your greenhouse, the type of crop grown, the growing method used. This will prevent you from installing more fans than necessary, saving you considerable investment and electricity costs.
