MultiMa

The MultiMa is our most advanced control system. It was specially developed to control the climate, irrigation and energy consumption in a greenhouse environment. Our frequent program updates and new programs ensure the system continues to meet the latest requirements, such as underground heat and cold storage. The MultiMa can be customized to fit your specific needs and is easily expandable as your company grows (up to 20 blocks, 500 valves and 50 valve groups). The MultiMa can be configured from the following control modules:

  • Blocks
  • Central Heating
  • Ventilation
  • Hot air Heaters
  • Weather
  • Transport
  • Roof Sprinkling
  • Buffer
  • Fogging
  • Heat Exchanger
  • Fans
  • Boiler
  • Apex Screen
  • CHP Systems
  • Exchange
  • Energy Control
  • Screen
  • Heat pump
  • Autonomous
  • CO2
  • Cyclic Lighting
  • Water
  • Supplementary Lighting

MultiMa version 4.9

  • MultiMa version 4.9 includes the following interesting new features compared to version 4.8:
The thermal screen can be closed based on the outgoing heat radiation measured by a Pyrgeometer. (For more information, click on Pyrgeometer)
  • Control can now be based on a number of sensor units. This allows for the fact that in large, open glasshouse blocks, the climate conditions in different parts of the blocks can vary markedly. You can select from which sensor unit the measurements are to be used for each control group (i.e. Heating Grid, Ventilation Group and Screen Group) and set a weighting factor for each sensor unit.
  • Autonomous influences allow custom control loops to be created based on the measurements or readouts you have selected.
  • The computer can automatically adjust settings based on the weather forecast. (For more information, click on Weather Forecast)
  • The MultiMa now limits the vent position while the glasshouse roof washers are in use. Part of the brushes on the roof washers can be removed, so the vents on the leeward side can be cleaned while they are partially open. Also included is a safeguard which prevents the vents from opening if a change in wind direction causes the leeward and windward side to switch.
  • Also new is the module providing heat pump & aquifer, cooling, heating and dehumidification control in a closed or semi-closed glasshouse.
  • CO2 control has been renewed enabling CO2 to be released based on CO2 concentration or a volume of CO2 expressed in kg/ha/hour. As a result, it is possible to release CO2 from a number of sources simultaneously.
  • The electricity control module has been completely renewed. It now uses an electricity collector and you can program how the system should respond to supply and demand in the Strategies section. (For more information, click on Electricity Control Module).
