Newton 100 Slab Weighting System The Newton 100 gives you a clear indication of your crop's water usage by constantly measuring the substrate weight. This enables you to manipulate the crop's development by setting irrigation to start based on the substrate weight and actively regulating the amount of water given. The Newton slab weighing system is especially suitable for crops grown in suspended gutters. The suspended gutters with 10 to 20 plants are fitted with two load cells which can measure up to 100kg. The measured values can be sent to all HortiMaX substrate computers (except the Aqua 400) and the MultiMa. The fluctuations in slab weight are shown as follows:
